It’s a beautiful new year at Mount of Olives! Here are some recent events and upcoming events to look forward to.
Loma Linda Teams Kick Off 2025 with the Children
It is always an exciting time when Loma Linda arrives at MoO, they bring energy and new faces each trip. The kids love the pizza party and the interactions.
Evacuation Alert
At the end of January the Santa Anna winds returned to Baja and with them the increased risk of fire. There was a fast moving wildfire to the North of Mount of Olives and we were placed on evacuation alert. This has made us very aware of the need for updated emergency plans.
Mural for the New Bunkhouse
A family group from Fallbrook California came to volunteer and one of the things they did was painting a beautiful mural on the wall of the new bunkhouse. It is the finishing touch that this great new facility needed as it welcomes guests.
Teams Teams and More Teams
We are super excited that so many teams are giving their time and talents to bless not only Mount of Olives but also the local community. Bill, Oscar and Javier have their running shoes on trying to keep ahead of the work the teams accomplish each week and prepare for the team that arrives almost immediately after the last team left. What a great blessing!
Mooch Racing is Heading Back into the Desert
The San Felipe 250 Mile Race is happening on April 5 and Mooch Racing will once again be competing in this challenge in support of Mount of Olives. Get your Mooch Gear or some fresh roasted coffee when you are at Mount of Olives next, it all supports our kids.
